Returns - RMA Request
Terms & Conditions of returning product are:
Some product is not returnable under any circumstances and others will only accept RMAs on DOA product. These are:
- No RMAs: BlueCoat, ScriptLogic, Secure Computing, ThinPrint & VMware.
- DOA Only: Eicon, Netbotz, & WYSE
- If you receive a DOA product within 30 days of the invoice date, you will receive an RMA # to return the product. You are responsible for placing a new order with your account manager for any replacement product needed.
- Any product shipped from Alternative’s normal stocking inventory and is unopened and resalable is returnable within 30 days of shipment. Please check with us to determine if the product you wish to return qualifies for this return privilege.
- All product returned to Alternative Technology, Inc. must be returned in original packaging and in resalable condition. The box must contain all cables, manuals, software,etc. Any missing items will result in either a restocking fee or refusal of package entirely.
- We will obtain return authorization from the manufacturer before issuing an RMA to you. The majority of authorizations are processed on the same day we receive therequest form. However, some can take up to 5 days depending on the age of the product, reason for return, and standing of your account balance.
- Once the product has passed the 30 days from invoice date, Alternative Technology, Inc. must follow the manufacturer’s return policy. If we cannot return it, we cannot take it back.
- AN RMA NUMBER MUST BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO RETURNING ANY PRODUCT TO ALTERNATIVE TECHNOLOGY, INC. THIS FORM ONLY REPRESENTS A REQUEST TO RETURN PRODUCT. AN AUTHORIZATION WILL BE FAXED WITH AN RMA NUMBER ONCE THE REQUEST HASBEEN AUTHORIZED. ANY PACKAGE RETURNED WITHOUT AN RMA NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX WILL BE REFUSED.
- Please place the RMA number on the shipping label only. Do not write on or deface the original manufacturers box. Credit is subject to any and all restocking and refurbishing fees if not in original condition, including packaging.
An approved RMA request is required for all returned product.
