Membership Levels
VMware has established a tiered program structure for partners based on their level of technical, sales and support capabilities to provide customer virtualization solutions. A higher level of commitment enables resellers to be eligible for a higher level of partnership and to enjoy the associated higher level of benefits.
Professional: This level is open to any partner interested in reselling VMware virtualization products, and is the fastest way to begin offering VMware products and solutions to your customers.
Enterprise: Enterprise partners have a higher level of VMware expertise and the ability to assist customers design, plan and implement both traditional computing infrastructures and virtual infrastructures. Enterprise Partners are authorized to sell the complete VMware product line.
Premier: This is the highest level of VIP partnership. Members at the Premier Partner level have dedicated technical, sales and support resources to the VMware partnership, and are provided with the highest level of program benefits.
VMware requires all partners to meet minimum certification requirements according to their VIP membership tier and have a minimum number of accredited VMware Sales Professionals certified to sell VMware products and solutions.
