Showcasing Eicon's Diva Server™ Hardware and Software

PLANO, TX, August 4, 2006- Eicon Networks Corporation ("Eicon") today announced it will have the latest version of its Diva Server™ and Diva Server SoftIP on display at its booth (Booth #609) on the exhibit floor at SpeechTEK East, August 7-9th at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Eicon's Diva Server delivers a robust hardware platform for the integration of multiple communications applications, including Fax, Unified Messaging, Computer Telephony, Remote Access, and Voice over IP. Offering digital network interfaces combined with rich, high-performance media processing characteristics, the Diva Server V-Series telephony adapters are key building blocks for enabling a new breed of voice business applications. Based on the latest PCI industry standards each adapter provides connectivity to the telephony network via ISDN Base Rate (BRI), Primary Rate (PRI), E1 or T1 interfaces. Powerful onboard Digital Signal Processor (DSP) resources - dedicated to each communication channel, ensures real-time voice processing and thus reduces latency and improves overall system performance for sophisticated, high-density speech solutions.

In addition to the Diva Server communications adapter, Eicon will be showcasing Diva Server SoftIP. SoftIP broadens the application area of Diva Server telephony adapters and media resource boards, in particular in the field of IP Telephony. Thanks to a consistent programming interface and field-proven software building blocks, new applications can be delivered to the market in a shorter time frame and with less effort. Diva Server SoftIP instantaneously empowers any software application which is based on standard CAPI or the Diva Server API (SDK) programming interfaces to work with IP Phones and Soft-Phones in an IP Telephony environment.
