On-Line Classes
You asked for even greater flexibility in providing vendor-authorized training to your clients and we listened. Students can now get all of the benefits of our traditional instructor-led vendor-certified classes without leaving the comfort of their home or office. We are now offering on-line delivery for our most popular VMware classes including:
- VMware Infrastructure 3.5: Install and Configure
- VMware Infrastructure 3.5: Deploy, Secure, Analyze
- VMware Infrastructure 3.5: FastTrack
Convenience without compromise.
Our on-line classes are not watered-down or recorded versions of our traditional classes. These are live, fully-interactive, instructor-led classes that cover the same course material as our traditional classes including hands-on labs.
Key Features:
- "No compromise", fully immersive learning experience
- Fully endorsed by VMware
- Classes are delivered live by one of our VMware Certified Instructors.
- Students connect over the internet from a PC or MAC via webex
- Instructors make extensive use of webex's "whiteboard" function to illustrate concepts and answer questions.
- Pricing and Voucher requirements are identical to corresponding classes delivered in-person.
- Classes are available for open enrollment or a VAR can host a "private" class
- Content (including "hands-on labs") and duration are equivalent to attending in-person.
- Low instructor/student ratios maximize each student's learning experience.

FAQs
Q: Do students need to have a webex account in order to attend?
A: No. Students only need to have "guest" account access which means they will be given a URL link, a meeting ID, and a password in order to connect to the on-line session. While a paid user or host account is not required, the student may have to install software (such as an Active X client) on their local machine in order to be able to connect to the on-line session. Instructions for attending the class will be included in the confirmation letter they receive after being booked into the class.
Q: How does a student receive their courseware?
A: Course books are mailed to each student in advance so they have a hard copy to refer to and make notes in.
Q: How do students interact with the teacher during the class?
A: On-line classes are fully interactive. In addition to the webex connection, students are also connected via voice conference using Genesis digital phone service. This enables students from the same company but in different locations to be connected via a "subgroup", enabling those students to engage in "private" conversations during class time. Students also have the option of asking questions over the phone or via the Instant Messaging features of webex.
Q: What time of day do classes typically start and end?
A: Open-enrollment classes are always taught from 8:00am 4:00pm MDT. If a VAR is hosting a private class, the hours may be altered to accommodate the local time zone of the students.
