Current Classes: Alternative Technology currently offers classes for Arcsight, Blue Coat, Citrix, Fortinet, Packeteer, and VMware technologies, with new vendors and classes added on a regular basis.

Alternative Technology instructors are cross-trained in a variety of operating systems including LAN and WAN technologies, in addition to the security and wireless products that enhance them. Our instructors are highly skilled engineers with years of practical “real world” experience.

  • Our classes are conducted in an environment that enhances the student’s learning experience. Students are encouraged to actively participate in the training process, raising their level of absorption exponentially. As your distribution partner, Alternative Technology is a neutral training facility. We do not sell to end-users nor do we attempt to recruit end-user business.
  • If your clients cannot attend class in one of our fixed training centers, we also have on-site training options.
  • Alternative Technology’s vendor-authorized classes train both your staff and your customers. We provide flexible class schedules, both in our learning centers and on-site. You gain product knowledge, fulfill vendor certification requirements, and better serve your customers with the training they need to use the products you sell to them.

Citrix Training Program

As with all of our offerings, Alternative Technology delivers Citrix training in a location convenient for you. The training your employees and customers receive from our authorized trainers prepares them to properly implement and support Citrix products and solutions.

VARs can host an Alternative Technology Citrix class and include students from their own customer base, while also working with other VARs in their geographic area to recruit additional students, making it easier to fill classes.
