Alternative Technology Signs Distributor Agreement with Vizioncore
Agreement extends Alternative Technology’s offering in the growing market for server and workstation virtualization.
Englewood, CO., November 14, 2006 – Alternative Technology, the leading specialty distributor of security and access infrastructure solutions, today announced that it has signed a value-added distribution agreement with Vizioncore, the leading provider of virtualization disaster recovery solutions. This agreement allows Alternative Technology to bring Vizioncore’s virtualization management and disaster recovery to its network of 3,000 resellers in the USA and Canada.
Vizioncore provides software that enables virtualization by enhancing the VMware® ESX Server and VI3 capabilities. The Vizioncore products provide backup, replication and monitoring of VMware Servers, facilitating a powerful Disaster Recovery solution, a cost-effective and reliable High Availability option, and automated Monitoring and Performance Management of the VMware Server farm.
Through this partnership, Vizioncore extends its reach throughout North America and brings additional value to its current channel partners by leveraging Alternative Technology’s focused product offering, advanced technical services and top notch sales support.
