Alternative Technology Contributes $34,497 to Aid Victims of Hurricane Katrina
ENGLEWOOD, CO - Oct. 10, 2005 — Alternative Technology, a specialty distributor based in Englewood, Colorado, announced that it has contributed $34,497, to the American Red Cross 2005 Hurricane Relief Fund to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Bill Botti, President and COO of Alternative Technology said, “Hurricane Katrina has left a path of devastation that has not left anyone in its path unharmed. In times such as these, it is everyone’s responsibility to pitch in and contribute to the relief efforts. Alternative Technology’s contribution comes from a portion of the company’s Gross Profit from the month of September, as well as matching employee contributions and product donations from vendor partners.
