Englewood, CO - May 31, 2005 - Alternative Technology, Inc., the leading specialty distributor for value-added resellers (VARs), is pleased to announce that its Technical Services division has added an additional competency as part of its Microsoft® Certified Solution Partner (MCSP) Gold status for 2005. Today’s announcement is regarding the addition of the Security Solutions competency – Alternative Technology has already registered Information Worker Solutions and Networking Infrastructure Solutions competencies.
Having attained Gold Partner level status, Alternative Technology has demonstrated its expertise in Microsoft® technologies, and it has been recognized for the creation of innovative solutions for customers’ business IT problems. As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Status, Alternative Technology had to declare Microsoft® Competencies, which are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft® technologies to customers seeking a specific solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.
Due to Alternative Technology’s Gold Partner status, the Technical Services team now receives a significant set of benefits, which include access, training, and support, from Microsoft™.
