Alternative Technology Announces Distribution Partnership with InteractNetworks
Lockdown™ Vulnerability Management Appliances (VMA) Targeted at Security VARs
Denver, Colo., Sept. 25, 2003 - Alternative Technology, Inc., a leading distributor of thin client/server-based computing and security solutions today announced a distribution agreement with InteractNetworks, Inc. Alternative Technology is the first company to distribute InteractNetworks’ products.
Under the terms of the agreement, Alternative Technology will resell and support the line of Lockdown™ Vulnerability Management Appliances (VMA) to its VAR channel customer base specializing in network and security solutions.
Alternative Technology, president and COO William R. Botti noted, “Lockdown VMA products provide risk mitigation by auditing and reporting known vulnerabilities on networks. Designed to give customers a cost-efficient, simple way to protect their networks, Lockdown VMA is a natural extension to existing firewall, intrusion detection systems, and virus detection software. Lockdown always stays current with new vulnerabilities via auto-updates every 12-hours. Lockdown can be deployed anywhere on the network, and is designed for small- to medium-sized businesses able to audit 10 network devices, and also large enterprises auditing 25,000 or more network devices.
