Alternative Technology Extends Distribution Agreement with Secure Computing to Offer New Strong Authentication Product
Alternative Technology Sells SafeWord® for
ENGLEWOOD, CO April 18, 2003 – Alternative Technology, Inc., a leading distributor of thin client/server-based computing solutions and security products, and one of the largest Citrix distributors in the world, has extended its distribution agreement with Secure Computing.
Alternative Technology and its extensive network of resellers will be the sole channel in the U.S. and Canada for Secure’s latest product, SafeWord® for Citrix® MetaFrame®.

It also provides strong authentication with tokens that generate new passwords for every user login. This eliminates the common security threats of passwords being stolen, guessed, hacked or simply written down. The product features tight integration with Citrix MetaFrame and Microsoft Active Directory, simplified management, and tokens that are co-branded with Citrix. Simplified pricing incorporates tokens and software licenses with an MSRP that begins at $99 per user.
